This is how Erik's photo shoot started out:

Erik wasn't happy about having to wear a hat and get his picture taken. But he was happy about lying on the floor, so we tried that instead.

I started out by warming him up without the hat on.

Christmas Photo Bloopers

And that brings us to Christmas. I took lots of pictures around the holidays, especially since we gave the parents a Christmas picture in a homemade frame for a gift. Some kids only needed a shot or two, while the process was longer for others. I'm sure you parents are used to taking a ton of pictures to get a good one and are thankful the digital age has arrived and that film is a thing of the past. Come join me on my long quest to get a wonderful picture!

Exhibit A: Cody

At this point we tried reindeer antlers instead. Obviously that was a No.

Thanksgiving Festivities

The BYU Adaptive Aquatics program has been amazing to our class this year. Since the outbreak of cryptosporidium has left us unable to swim this year, the coordinators of that program have graciously put together other activities for our class. Here they are: Holly and Kendra. Thanks for everything!

For Thanksgiving they helped the kids make pilgrim and indian costumes followed by a Thanksgiving feast.

Cody was less than thrilled to wear his indian hat. "Please get that thing away from me."

I'm not sure what happened to all the pilgrims in our class. I don't know why I have this picture, but here is a BYU volunteer who looks pretty excited about his costume.

Playground Fun

Oh how we all wish for warmer days...
Erik misses the grassy areas to do somersaults!


These guys wish it would warm up so the metal on the playground wasn't so cold. Just don't stick your tongue to anything and we should make it through winter!

But if it has to be winter, at least there is snow.
